The El Dorado County Health Services Department assists parents in obtaining health coverage for their children through the Children’s Health Initiative (formerly ACCEL). They want to help obtain health insurance for all of the children in our county. If you would like to call the Children’s Health Initiative at 1-800-388-8690, the staff there will work with you to get your children health coverage.
