Google Apps for Education is a free solution that is built for teachers and students to provide easy tools to engage students anytime, anywhere, on any device.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
The district has listened to students and their parents who shared that they would prefer students to use their own personal technology to assist with learning.  Students are expected to connect to the filtered RUSD student wireless network to ensure safety and access to appropriate resources.

Scholastic Reading Counts & Scholastic Reading Inventory
Scholastic Reading Counts! is an independent reading program which combines reading practice and software-based reading assessment. Instructionally flexible, mastery focused, and professionally written, SRC! is the program PROVEN to develop reading skills, help raise test scores, and motivate students to achieve reading success.
Scholastic Reading Inventory is a reading assessment program which provides immediate, actionable data on students' reading levels, lexiles and growth over time. SRI helps educators differentiate instruction, make meaningful interventions, forecast growth toward grade-level state tests, and demonstrate accountability.

Mustang Pride Award
The Mustang Pride Award is earned over nine trimesters of achievement for Marina Village students. Students submit documentation of various types of achievement in three different categories each trimester. Each achievement is worth a specific point value and students who earn 100 points are eligible to earn the Mustang Pride Award which will then be presented at 8th grade promotion.
The links below provide an individual worksheet to keep track of progress. Also, a Mustang Pride reporting form may be used to document achievements such as participation in a club, sport, or activity. To submit the reporting form and other documentation of achievement use the link to the Google form below.
